Tell us about your university studies.
After high school and a preparatory course in Toulouse, I studied for a Master’s degree in electrical engineering at ENSE3 in Grenoble. For the last phase of my degree course, I am working as an intern at Mobility.
What does your placement entail?
I am acting as a project management assistant in the Mobility E-bus business unit, which offers the Cway smart charging solution for electric bus fleets. I particularly appreciate the variety that the internship offers, including business management, technical aspects, and responding to calls for tenders. As a result, I have gained a global view of the business.
I have followed the deployment of charging stations in Argenteuil and Toulouse. I also participated in the development of a prototype terminal for a Canadian customer, STL (Société des Transports de Laval), which gave me the opportunity of working in an English-speaking environment. I was able to observe how teams work in synergy with customers and suppliers.
I also had the opportunity to observe the activities of the other business units. This experience was a great opportunity to refine my professional choices.
How did your integration at Mobility go?
I received a very warm welcome from the team. My supervisor gives me a lot of freedom in what I do, but always makes time to answer my questions.
I also get on well with the other trainees. We play football and badminton together in our lunch breaks!
You are about to start your professional career. How d you envisage your next steps?
I am looking for opportunities to discover other specialities and get involved in all aspects of assignments. I am 23 years old, and I am giving myself time to find what I want to do.
In the medium term, I would like to participate in an international business volunteer programme. Last year, I did an internship in Spain, and I would like to improve my English by going to Australia or North America next. I know that there are opportunities at Mobility and at Vinci Energies!
