A partnership for high-safety tramway signalling
Mobility has signed an agreement with Clearsy reinforcing their partnership for the development of safety software for railway signal applications.
Clearsy is a French SME specialising in the creation of safety software and systems ranging from SIL1 to SIL4. In particular, Clearsy produces safety systems and software for the rail, automotive, military, space and nuclear sectors.
Mobility has recently launched Crossway, an infrastructure safety system combining the highest possible level of safety with the flexibility of a customised design.
Established more than three years ago, the partnership between Mobility and Clearsy has resulted in numerous achievements, including the successful commissioning of the Luxembourg and Nice tramways. Bolstered by these initial successes, and with a view to adding to the list, the two companies have decided to consolidate their partnership and thus increase its performance.
Mobility and Clearsy are currently pursuing their collaboration on the Caen tramway signalling project, which includes the construction of seven manoeuvring zones and a maintenance centre. The software required, which will operate automated safety systems, is subject to independent assessment in accordance with level SIL4 of the CENELEC 50128-2011 standard.
