Launch of work to renew the overhead lines on the RER C regional express train line in Paris
RC², the consortium appointed by SNCF Réseau, held a discussion day with its teams to mark the launch of the start of work to renew the overhead lines on the RER C regional express train line in Paris.
In order to identify and optimise the management of risks relating to the project, 140 consortium staff members met to discuss four major topics: organisation of the work base and of the work site, electrical risks, and rail-related risks.
It was a day of constructive discussions relating to safety, which is of top priority for the SNCF and RC² consortium members TSO Caténaire, ETF, Mobility and SETEC.
The work to renew the overhead lines will take place from 2019 to 2025, encompassing 30 km of tracks and 13 stations.
