Public transport of the future: what stakes for operators?

On Tuesday 2 October, a panel discussion entitled “Public transport of the future: what stakes for operators?” was held at the Confluences museum in Lyon, as part of our Mobility & Confluences* events.

Mélanie Berthold of the Swiss Federal Railways, Yves Putallaz of  imdm-infra consulting, Christophe Silvestre of ST2N / Régie Lignes d'Azur, Pierre Lancien of Bus & Car Connexion and Sébastien Oger of Mobility offered their insights on these issues.

This panel discussion, a great opportunity for mobility entities to share ideas, was very much appreciated by the participants. They were then able to visit three exhibitions at the museum: “Hugo Pratt, skylines”, “Yokainoshima, spirits of Japan” and “Touaregs”. All odes to travel… and to mobility!

Our next panel discussion, entitled “Electric buses: one system or multiple solutions?”, will be held in Lausanne on 15 November 2018, with panellists from VDL Bus & Coach, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, les Transports Lausannois and Transdev.

* Launched in 2015, these after-work events provide an opportunity for partners, customers and staff to meet and interact in the prestigious setting of the Confluences museum.
